Community Cares Fund
A rewarding part of giving to local needs is that not only do you have the joy of knowing you have had a part in the transformation of the lives of others, but you Inspire Philanthropy in those around you by setting an example of strategic giving. During the holidays, consider giving a donation gift in honor of your friends, clients, or employees. By making a donation to the Community Cares Fund here at CFNEG, you maximize your gift by spreading the love! The main focus of the Community Cares Fund is to address the needs of the non-profit agencies that are being stretched to their limits due to the economic downturn. The donations will help the local non-profits to provide services, such as housing, food and medical care to our neighbors.
We will prepare a holiday card to send to your friends, clients or employees announcing your gift in their honor to the local non-profit of your choice. We appreciate your partnership with us and hope you have a wonderful holiday season knowing that you have had a part in making the holidays a little bit brighter for a family in need.
Please call our office for more information on how to make a gift to the local non-profit relief effort through the Community Cares Fund.

"Many people experience during their lives something that helps them become who they are. For me, Youth Out Reach United not only helped me grow as a person, but also helped me find my passion in life.

The experiences and memories of leadership and serving have shaped me forever and really opened not only my eyes but also my heart. I have taken the initiative to make sure that I continue to help everyone I can around me, especially those who are less fortunate. I have learned that you can really make a difference. While helping with apartment ministries, I found happiness. While other kids my age went to the mall, I was able to meet people who have impacted me for the rest of my life. The benefits of serving far outweigh any thing I could find at the mall. I am starting college this fall and my intended major is non-profit management. This decision is solely based on the experiences I'm so grateful to have had with Y.O.U. I am ecstatic to venture on this journey that I know will truly change my life as well as the lives of those around me." ~ ~ Katie Moberly

INSPIRED PHILANTHROPY
It is evident that a new, more strategic approach to philanthropic giving is required. The current economic downturn will likely be remembered as the worst economic climate in U.S. history. Thousands in our very own community have felt the impact of this and our non-profit agencies are finding it difficult in keeping up with meeting those in need.
The Foundation strives to encourage donors to think big. Big in terms of the impact they want to achieve. We work with each philanthropist individually and ask thoughtful and probing questions to help them achieve their desired influence. The philanthropy of our donors matches their personal values. We call this Inspired Philanthropy - purposeful, satisfying and personal giving.
As we move forward, the Foundation is making every effort to intentionally set goals that will strengthen the quality of life as an inclusive and sustainable community by acting as a catalyst and by connecting people, ideas and resources through community philanthropy. We hope that this ensuing season of giving Inspires you beyond your wildest dreams and we look forward to playing a part in helping you realize them.
Warm Regards....... Judy
